Marojejy Trekking -Nosybe Excursion

Day 1: Your home Country – Madagascar  
You are most welcome to Madagascar  Airport  Ivato
I will meet you at the international airport Ivato upon your arrival .
After your formality  and  money changing .you will transfer to your  hotel in Tana  overnight at Lavillete or  Simlar Breakfast  Included

Day 2:FLIGHT  TANA - SAMBAVA- MAROJEJY NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast  Transfer  the airport of Ivato for the domestic flight  to Sambava upon your  arrival  our team will  meet you at the airport Sambava  then Car  transfer to Manantenina the gate way of  Marojejy National Park  (2hours of  drive).
To the  Manantenina village where we start our  trek for  the Marojejy National Park. 4 hours walk : steep up to 150m From Manantenina village,  to Camp Mantella. We discover the lower wet primary forests. We will have the opportunity to observe several species of reptiles like Chameleons , Sank  and amphibians, and birds including  Helmet Vanga.
Arrival at Camp Mantella . In the afternoon we discover the surroundings of Camp Mantella, visiting the Humbert waterfalls. in the evening we can do a night walk searching for lemurs and geckos active in the night then back to the camp Diner and Nigh in the Hat at  CampMantela 1

Days 3 : CAMP MANTELLA / CAMP SIMPONA
After Breakfast we  continue the trek to  Camp Simpona.
6h walk  steep up to   +800m high
Today we observe the rare Silky sifaka endemic to this rainforest.
We  will arrive to camp Marojejia for lunch. In the afternoon we follow our walk to Camp Simpona. Arrival and installation to the camp located at 1250m altitude.
Overnight at  Camp Simpona in the Hat’s

Days 4 : CAMP SIMPONA – SUMMIT – MAROJEJEIA
After Early breakfast get ready for the hardest part of this  trek ,  up to the Marojejia National Prk summit culminating at 2132m altitude.
We enjoy the exceptional view on the Indian Ocean and the North of the Island and then walk down to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon we walk back down to camp Marojejia. About   250m At sunset, possibility to go for a night walk  around the camp.
To see the Lemurs , Chameleons , Geckos  Frogs , Butterflies et…around the Camp
Overnight in Camp Marojejia . in the Hat .

Days 5 : CAMP MAROJEJIA / CAMP MANTELLA / SAMBAVA
After breakfast and we follow our walk crossing  the primary forest portions to the
national park entrence and out . 5H walk ; Down  to Manantenina Village
Picnic lunch on the way  and departure to Sambava (2H drive).to Sambava  Arrival and installation Overnight  in the hotel Orchide or Melrose or Similar on Bb .
 
Days 6 : SAMBAVA – VOAIMARA  – DARAINA
After your  Breaksast , driving to the northern, stop for lunch in Voemaro After lunch we continue the drive to Daraina, Arrival in Daraina, installation in the hotel, Get ready for   Night walk in Daraina Reserved, searching for Chameleon’s  and Lemurs like  Daraina sportive lemur, fork-marked lemur, Sand ford’s brown lemur, dwarf lemur and  if we are lucky  will see the  rarest species  of lemurs called  Aye -Aye.then
back to the Hotel, Overnight in Daraina on Bb

Day 7: DARAINA  VISIT – AMBILOBE  - BUMPY ROAD 
Breakfast at the camp and  visit of Daraina special reserved. Managed by the Malagasy NGO Fanamby, this reserved is the last natural habitat of the Golden crowned sifaka.
The reserved is a deciduous forest, semi evergreen forest and degraded grassland. The forest shelters, also other lemur species like the crowned lemur , Many birds can be observed like Vandam’s vanga, sickled-billed vanga, hook-billed vanga, crested coua, Madagascar crested ibis and Madagascar Harrier Hawk Then countinue the drive to   Ambilobe Overnight on Bb

Day 8:AMBILOBE  – DIEGO
After breakfast,  get ready for the Bumpy road, , Birds, Chameleon’s, are can be spoted, on the road,  lunch in Ambanja, Then continue the drive to Diego Overnight.This day is last adventur drive on RN5 overnight at Diego

Day 9: Diego – Emerald Sea - Diego
In the morning, transfer to the Emerald Sea. This day is dedicated to live an extraordinary experience in this site. It is one of the most beautiful sites on the island with its beautifully colored waters. You will enjoy sunbathing on its white sand beaches and swimming in transparent waters. From there, it is possible to stop on small pristine islands with white sand beaches.  Overnight at Mantasaly resort OR Similar.

Day 10 : Diego  – Ankarana
After breakfast Take the way to Ankarana and visit the famous Red Tsingy, ephemeral
Red sand formations shaped by wind and rain. On the way, you can find villages of Ankarana with their lifestyle and culture. Admire unique landscapes.
Overnight at Iharana bush camp or Similar.

Day 11: Ankarana National Park
Breakfast at the camp and then depart for a guided hike through the park. Biodiversity, the endemic ecosystem of the Tsingy of Ankarana will be revealed to you during this
Adventure. It is home to at least 50 shellfish species, including 10 water species. Amongst the most interesting species is the great land snail Tropidophora. Several species of collembolan (springtail) and amphipods are endemic to the caves and streams of Ankarana. Also, it is an adequate site for the photography of lemurs, butterflies, vegetation, invertebrates and birds. Overnight at Iharana bush camp or Similar.

Day 12 : Ankarana-Ankify – Nosybe
After taking breakfast, drive directly to Ankify.. port for the ferry boat to Nosy Be.  The crossing takes around 1 hour so you will have chance to admire the beautiful sea view on the boat and have a best pictures. Upon arrival in the port, transfer to the hotel. In the end of the day, you may do a city tour of Hell Ville with Tuc-tuc, one way of transportation in this place. Overnight at L’heure bleue Or Similar .

Day 13 : Nosy Komba and Nosy Tanikely
During this day, you will make an excursion to Nosy Komba. It is covered with a dense tropical forest and surrounded by volcanic rocks. Numerous small beaches and emerald water make Nosy Komba a treasure of nature. And it is a home for a variety of lemurs
like Makis and Macaco. After that, go to Nosy Tanikely which is only 5 nautical miles west of Nosy Komba. With its great underwater biological diversity, Tanikely attracts tourists especially the amateurs of snorkeling. There you can observe several animals such as dolphins, turtles, all kinds of fish and a large number of corals, sponges, shells and lemurs. Overnight at L’Heure Bleue on BB Or Similar.

Day 14 : Nosy Be  Relaxing day – Out 
Beach day having fun.
Long day relaxing on the beach then after noon  you can go shopping to buy some tourist souvenirs and make a city tour of the town. Late in the evening, after all preparation you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight back home . Have a safe  flight!
