Madagascar Masoala Wildlife Safari & Tours

Day 1 : Flight  from  Home  - arrival in Antananarivo
Welcome to Madagascar!
Upon arrival  I will meet you at Ivato airport, make all formalities and some local exchanges. And then, transfer to your hotel which is near to the airport. On your choice hotel.

Day 2  :Antananarivo-  Flight -  Maroantsetra 
After  breakfast you will   get ready for the transfer to the airport for your sort  Flight to Maroantsetra town ,upon arrival in Maroantsera  you will meet your Local Guide and driver then transfer to your Hotel Overnight at  Masoala Resort  Hotel right on the Beach. OR AT Biza Hotel or  directily to Masoala. Odge.

Day 3 :  Maroantsetra- Masoala National Park  Primery Forest
After your breakfast sort  Boat Transfer to Masoala National Park Arrival in Masoala,  our teams will welcome you with  coconut  jus  on the beach before you get your room,  and  relax  on the beach  or in the hotel  before lunch.  At 2 pm get  ready to explore Masoala Nationa prk, searching for  Red ruffed Lemurs and Chameleons in Masoala National Park  an options for Snorkeling in the Marin park to see the fishes and  reefs, if we are  Lucky will meet the sea torttles , Overnight at Dounia Forest Loddge or Similar. Masoala Forest Lodge

Day 4:   Masoala National Park  Secondary  Forest 
After breakfast  we  explore the primary rain forest of Masoala  with giant tree over 400 years old, and enjoying  lovely birds  sounds , over 9o species  can be spotted in Masoala, and lemurs , Jumping around  from tree to tree, like white fronted brown lemurs, giant millipedes are can be well spotted a Crosse the path in the jungle , and having some water break or biscuits break ,and listening the 100 different  sounds of the natures  at the same times in the jungle, then walk slow back to the lodge for lunch ,  in the afternoon we will relax on the nice  beach  then make some revision for the  things we observed from the morning walk,  before the dark, then in evening we can do some night walk to see the lemurs active in the night, such Brown mouse lemurs, Sportive Lemurs, then back to the Hotel, Overnight at Dounia Forest Loddge or similar Masoala Forest Lodge

Day  5 : Masoala National Park Primery Forest 
Look for More Red ruffed Lemurs and Helmeted Vanga , Insect , Geckos , Night walk to see much as possible .
Overnight at Dounia Forest Loddge or similar

Day  6 : Tampolo Birding Masoala National Park  
Bird watching to see the 90 species of  beautiful  Vanga’s ‘ Ground Rouler’s , Tretraka’s , Howk’s , Owl ‘s , Bat’ s , Sun  birds   in Masoala  Night walks  to night active wildlife.
Overnight at Dounia Forest Loddge or similar

Day 7 : Marin Park  Masoala
After breakfast Today we  will explore the sea wildlife, Boat transfer to Tampolo Marin park , enjoying paradise beaches , sun bath, and snorkeling in the Marin park searching for  Star fish, parrot fish, Butterfly fishes, group of barracudas, in while having sun bath and jumping in water again, (Jun- September) whales watching can be well done as the humpbacked whales come here every years for breading from Jun and mating on September before they get back to their long trip to Antarctica’s , enjoying, sea life, before the picnic lunch on your own  paradise beach ,  before  boat ride  back to the lodge, we will have a quiet river trip by local canoe made of tree trunk, dug out,  pedaling, up to the Tampolo  river, among the mangroves , observing rose wood tree, during the river trip ,and if we are lucky we will see the eastern Bamboo lemurs jumping around  Overnight at Dounia Forest Lodge. Or Similar or  Masoala Forest Lodge

Day 8 : Boat Transfer – Nosy Mangabe Reserved 
After breakfast , sort  boat transfer to Nosy mangabe island,Arrival in Nosymangabe Short walk  in the special reserved ,searching for the  king of camouflage [uroplatus Fumbriatus] Leaf tailed geckos, on the tree trunk , this is an amazing camouflage, on  a day time they are sleeping on the tree trunk, take the bark skin colors, then continue the walk enjoying  the Orchids flowers, nice beaches  and photographing White fronted brown lemurs having sun bath around the camp site. Then searching for the second smallest Chameleons in the world called Brookessia  Piererasia, they live on the ground among the dried leaf, so tiny, then continue the walk  searching for  Green backed manthelas frogs , then walk back to the camp site  evening  boat transfer to  the Hotel in Maroantsetra Overnigt at Biza Hotel or Masoala Resort in the city of Maroantsetra.

Day  9 :  Maroantsetra – Flight - Antananarivo
After breakfast ,   transfer to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo  then flight back home end of the Madagascar  Masoala  Wiildlife Safari Tours . Then you will have time to do the shopping before  your international flight back home
